Solar Panel Cleaning

Dust, pollen and bird mess quietly eat into your generation. Pure rainwater brings the panels back without risking the coatings or the warranty.

Technician cleaning a solar array on a tiled roof with a water-fed pole

Panels sit at an angle facing the weather, so they collect everything the weather throws at them. Left alone, a dirty array can lose a surprising chunk of its output. Cleaning typically recovers a noticeable share of that generation, and on larger arrays the difference shows up on the meter.

The method matters. We use soft brushes and de-ionised pure water only, the same water we put on your windows. No detergents, no abrasives, nothing that could mark the anti-reflective coating or give a manufacturer an excuse to question the warranty.

Most customers book it as a yearly or twice-yearly visit. If you're having the gutters done anyway, bundle the two: the same kit covers both jobs and the price comes down accordingly.
